If you’re looking for a massage spot to go to, especially if you’re feeling an impromptu massage- GO HERE! Greeted with a lovely smile and an amazing aroma, I found this to be the best place I’ve gone to so far. I booked a last minute acupressure deep tissue massage that did not disappoint.
My massage was transformational. I have experienced many massages as I’m a competitive athlete and this was by far the most comprehensive, healing, and therapeutic (that says a lot). My muscles and entire body feel open, relaxed, and my muscles and tissues feel alive.
This was an amazing experience! This was my first time in Florida and thus my first time here, and I was privileged to be paired with Jenny! Jenny was PHENOMENAL. She was attentive, she was kind, she paid attention to my body reactions. She adjusted as needed, and I left feeling none of the pain that I came with.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
