⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Life-Changing Post-Surgical Lymphatic Massage! I can’t say enough amazing things about my experience! After surgery, my body was sore, swollen, and tight — but from my very first lymphatic massage session, I could feel a dramatic difference.
Jackie at Healing Hands has been a sacred gift for my body and spirit. Each lymphatic massage feels like a gentle clearing—not just of physical tension, but of stagnant energy I didn’t realize I was carrying. I feel lighter, more fluid, and deeply at peace after every session.
Jackie is awesome and my massages help with my Myotonia muscular dystrophy and the lymphatic massage really helps the swelling in my feet and legs to go down. Jackie is caring and considerate and has been a tremendous help in so many ways. I recommend Healing Hand Bodywork and Massage 🙏🏻
I came to Healing Hand after having surgery with general anesthesia in hopes of clearing my lymphatic system, and one day later am already feeling less inflamed. Jackie is very knowledgeable, skilled, and understanding as well as empathetic, and I'm so glad I found her at the right time!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
