From the reviews

Amazing Acupuncture facility!! the owners here are very welcoming & kind. The service is excellent, and the Dr. listens to your problems to determine what is needed to heal you. When she's done with your treatment you feel relieved and relaxed. I recommend her for acupuncture and cupping.

I have so much to say about Healing Arts, with Dr. Dao, and all of it is good! I felt so comfortable with Dr. Dao and I am confident that she can help me with my concerns. If you want a quick fix to a certain problem, then this place is not for you. Dr.

I have been going to this place for over a year now. Dr. Dao is AMAZING! I started to go to her when I had pain in my left hip. it was so painful that my leg was like a log of lumber. I couldn't walk when I got there and she was able to get me to walk normal again the very next day.

★★★★★ — Ja, Aug 2021

Since it was my first experience with acupuncture and Eastern medicine, I did a great deal of research before selecting Dr. Dao's practice. Her office had many 5 star reviews and everyone seemed very pleased with the service they had received. I scheduled an appointment with Dr.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
