I had the best massage done by Olivia. She was able to pinpoint and focus on areas in my back and neck with perfect pressure and cupping technique. She was informative & I felt so safe with her! Her talent is amazing and highly recommended!! & please check this place out.

My experience at Healing Arts Institute has been absolutely amazing. I am currently a student, and from the very first day I knew I was among family. The teachers are able to guide our class of ten students at a pace that is both rapid and comfortable.

I don’t usually write reviews , in this case because I can’t do him justice. Chas is absolutely the best!!!!!!!! I’ve tried other therapists, but I won’t ever go anywhere else. He quickly learned what I need and is always thinking and studying to find new ways to help me.

I had a wonderful experience here! The front staff is kind and professional. The ambiance was very calm and soothing. Chas is an absolutely amazing person. Believe me, he has found his higher purpose on this earth by making lives better one person at a time.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
