From the reviews
I would not into any other PT clinic. Cody shows Genuine interest in my PT needs, and always answers my questions completely and patiently. Also, Amber is always friendly and very helpful
Cody, and his assistant Brenda, are professional, patient and kind people. This is a smaller facility, which is an advantage with Covid, since there is usually only one client seen at a time.
I was worried about going to PT because I’ve done it before and it was painful here at Sooner PT Cody was awesome and I mean awesome. I have 3 herniated disks plus more on my lumbar spine and the workout he gave me was great but not painful. When I walked out I was in less pain than when I walked in.
This is the second time I have used Sooner Physical Therapy and will use them again. The facility is always clean and each piece of equipment is cleaned after every use. Getting you dates and times for therapy is very easy and they with with you on changes. I would recommended Sooner to anyone.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
