From the reviews

I enjoyed the time I spent at H2 Health. Everyone was friendly and cared about my well being. All of the Physical Therapists took time to explain why I was doing the exercise and how it was going to help me. They were always concerned that I was comfortable doing the exercises.

H2 Health is a great place! I began physical therapy with low expectations. I considered my back pain as a "badge" of aging. However, my primary care physician told me she values physical therapy so I heeded her advice and made an appointment. At this point, I cannot believe how much better I feel.

★★★★★ — Kathryn, Jan 2025

Maria was my physical therapist and she is excellent. I have known her for many years because I have had several different issues that required therapy. After my initial session I knew I would go back to her again and again as needed. She is compassionate, gentle, and very knowledgeable.

I chose H2 because it was close and I used years before. I am so glad I did! All therapists are extremely good and friendly! It feels like a family when I am there and it begins at the front door with Aubrey! She is so helpful, cool, and one of a kind super sweet girl!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
