I had an excellent experience at the acupuncture clinic. Both the receptionist and Dr. Yang's professionalism was truly commendable. Very clean and organized office space. I didn’t prepare myself for this appointment and Dr Yang made me feel so comfortable.
I came to Dr. Yang with L4/L5 back pain radiating down my leg through my shin and barely able to walk. In only six weeks, the doctor took me from a pain of 9 in my shin to a sensation of only 3-4 in my knee, and I could walk unlimited. I wish I could have continued with her but I moved across country!
This was my first experience with Acupuncture. Dr. Yang was kind, gentle and explained to me exactly what to expect during my treatment. I could tell she genuinely cares about her patients and wants to make their acupuncture treatment comfortable. Due to her calming nature, I was able to relax.

What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
