From the reviews

I absolutely love Good Health Acupuncture and especially Katherine Triestman (KT)! If you’re even thinking about getting a massage, run — don’t walk — to KT. (And if you can’t run… crawl! You’ll thank yourself later.

My first massage with Good Health was extraordinary. I've had leg pain every day for the past three months, after having 1 massage there I can walk again with no pain. I explained my issues to Kathy and she listened. Best massage I've ever had.

I recently had my very first acupuncture experience, and it truly exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I made the initial phone call, the receptionist was incredibly informative and kind, making me feel at ease even before stepping foot in the office.

I’ve had a wonderful experience with Kasey from the very first visit, I felt comfortable, listened to, and truly cared for. The treatments have been incredibly helpful, and I’ve noticed real improvements in how I feel both physically and mentally.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
