From the reviews
Dr. Kade is phenomenal!!! If I could give 10 stars, it still wouldn’t be sufficient! The care they give is unrivaled!!! After living with pain for over 27 years with Western medicine telling me I’ll just have to deal with it if I don’t want to take their medications, today my healing journey began.
Eye opening experience and really great assessment. Dr. Kade listened to everything, asked some unique questions and identified some things none of my previous doctors have mentioned.
I’ve had a phenomenal experience working with Dr. Kade on a nagging injury that has greatly improved with treatment. They are an attentive listener and communicator with a thoughtful approach to treatment.
If you're considering trying acupuncture, or are looking for an exceptional practitioner, I highly recommend Kade. If you're hesitant - come here for a session. Acupuncture varies a lot by practitioner, and I feel lucky to have found such a great one.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
