I recently visited Glow and was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional level of service and attention to detail from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was serene and inviting — a perfect escape from the stresses of daily life.
I have gotten a massage from El 2 times now, 1 being a deep tissue massage and 1 being a prenatal massage, and my husband got a deep tissue massage from Jill once! We both had wonderful massages that left our bodies feeling great!
I love Glow. I was hesitant to get a massage from a man, but that was not an issue at all. Charles was incredible.He did this stretching and manual work and it was blissful. Definite sore after. But my shoulders and my neck finally felt like they were put in proper place. My posture was better. Will definitely be back.
Sangee and her team were incredibly flexible for my bachelorette spa day party that I had. There were 12 of us and each one of us had an amazing experience. Jill, Charles, and El all did our massages. They were very experienced, kind, and gentle. I am in the process of booking my next appointment at Glow!!!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
