From the reviews

I love this place! Not only are prices affordable for the value of treatment, there is a wide variety of treatment and facial and body care options! Carolyn and Belinda are amazing! I especially love lymphatic drainage, cupping and the wellness shots!

Glo Aesthetics & Hydration is an absolutely amazing place! It is a medical spa w aesthetics and wellness treatments. First, Carolyn is the kindest, sweetest lady and is a registered nurse. She takes time to listen to you, finds out what your needs are, and follows up w you to make sure you are okay.

This medspa was exactly what I needed. After several months of a stressful work travel, I had a lot of pain in my back and neck. I signed up for a lymphatic drainage and craniosacral therapy (didn’t know what that was, but it sounded nice!). I worked with Carolyn and was blown away by the way I felt after treatment.

★★★★★ — Kimberly, Nov 2023

Belinda was wonderful!! She did a relaxing and helpful lymphatic drainage and cranial-sacral service. She consulted me before the service and told me exactly what to expect. I felt very comfortable and relaxed. I almost fell asleep even. I would highly recommend Belinda and her services.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
