Very relaxing environment. Very comfortable and stress free. This was really my first massage. I have been battling back pain for years and the last few months it has progressively gotten worse. I was able to come in and have Jen work her magic.
Jen is the best massage therapist I’ve EVER had and I have been to SO many. I’ve been a client for probably 6 years now? She listens to your body, finds exactly the areas you are having pain and gets to the root of them, applies the right amount of pressure to the affected knots, and leaves you 1,000x better than when…
I have had massages around the world and my first trip to Ginger Bloom was one of the best. The facility is awesome and the atmosphere was great. Dane was my therapist and he listened to my problem areas and addressed them thoroughly.
Update April 28, 2023 My goodness, Diane is an incredible therapist... After not having a deep tissue massage for 6 months, I received one this week. Besides being very skilled, Diane works very, very hard to help address physical issues.. If I could give her 6 STARS, I would. I strongly recommend Diane!!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
