From the reviews
Adam is the BEST! I have dealt with chronic back pain since my teenage years, primarily due to my scoliosis. Since working with Adam over the past year, he has become an essential part of my pain management self-care routine. He is consistent and intuitive in his massage and cupping practices.
The last few days, I had been having a sharp pain in between my shoulder blades and pain in my neck and traps with limited range of motion. I also couldn't look down or turn my neck completely. Today, I went in for the first time to experience the cupping massage, and when I was done, I could turn my neck without pain.
Adam provided great service. He is so knowledgeable about the body he made the massage experience even better. I develop a lot of stress around my shoulders and he was able to help relieve the tension. He provided cupping to help alleviate the knots as well. I will definitely book him again for my next appointment!
Had a really great experience with Adam. He cares a lot more about the healing aspect, rather than just rubbing your body with oil. Different stretches, different cupping techniques. He really focused on my problem areas. I'll be back for a 2nd visit.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
