From the reviews

Jana is by far the best therapist I have ever had. I have been to many and no one can compare. She is very intelligent and caring. Jana has educated me during my sessions and has even taken the time to send me more information via text to put me on the path to a healthier body.

★★★★★ — Abbey, May 2022

Jana is amazing! We call her the muscle wizard because her knowledge of muscles and physiology is absolutely incredible. She has helped my daughter through a very painful car accident recovery that no one else could provide any relief for. She also has helped me when I had a severe pinched nerve in my cervical spine.

★★★★★ — Amy, Jul 2023

Jana is filled with compassion and her calm and reassuring demeanor encourages you to relax and really enjoy your massage. If you have knots or tender areas that need attention, she will work you through those and teach you how to keep feeling good. She is extremely skilled and knowledgeable as well as caring.

★★★★★ — Holly, Mar 2020

Jana is very knowledgeable. Not only she treated me, but I was impressed with her understanding of my problem areas and how her treatment was focused and with purpose. She also showed me stretching exercises I could do at home to help me improve my posture. I felt Jana truly cared about my health and wellbeing.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
