Fremont Therapy Group does an outstanding job. Kudos to the support staff. Kim is an excellent therapist. She takes the time to address all of one’s concerns, and provides terrific guidance. Also, Ty does a great job. He was the one that recommended that I see a Neurologist, which helped me on my road to recovery.
I have never come across a better physical therapist than Suzy at Fremont Therapy Group. She is highly knowledgeable, gentle, encouraging, supportive, patient, and so much more! When I first met her, I was nervous, incredibly weak, and in so much pain, that I was rather off putting.
I started getting therapy for mu total knee replacement in 2021. I had a long hospitalization with a complicated recovery and the therapists got me on my feet. I am forever grateful. Then in 2023, I developed a problem which will require surgery in the coming weeks.
Such a wonderful experience from walking through the front door on day one, being assessed to being treated and supported. After dealing with near constant upper back pain for at least two years, I was exhausted and frustrated with short term answers.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
