From the reviews
Massage therapist Grace is amazing. Is very knowledge in her profession and even gave me a quick demonstration on cupping to see if it’s something I’d like to try. Always feel much more relaxed and decreased pain after massage Highly recommend!
Grace gives amazing massages! As soon as I heard she was back we booked with her. I’ve tried cupping one time so far at her suggestion for problem spots and it was so worth it.
I hurt my back this summer and wanted a chiropractor who was close to home so that I wouldn't have to go far while in so much pain. I am so happy I found Frankum Chiropractic! I've seen many different chiropractors and I love this office. I never feel pressured to make 1000 appointments at one time.
Grace does an amazing job as their massage therapist. I came in with tight shoulders and just feeling so stressed out about my job. She has been able to help me relax and is always asking if I have anything specific to work on or bothering me.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
