From the reviews
Jennifer was undoubtedly wonderful. She listened to my concerns and addressed the areas of soreness. I left my session feeling infinitely lighter. I will be scheduling another session soon.
Tara is an artist! Hands down, no pun intended, she is an artist + magician. She not only loosened my knots, but also stretched my tense muscles using varying techniques. She listened to my needs and was able to devise a plan to help me relax and feel 100%.
I had a great experience at Forma. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming. Tara was attentive to my needs and focusing on the areas that really needed work. Afterwards I felt refreshed and rejuvenated. I’ll be going back and highly recommend
Tara is great. Customizes every session to your needs and listens to your concerns about muscles and tendons.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
