From the reviews

Becky is an INCREDIBLE healer and human. Louisville is really lucky to have her here. I had many acupuncture appointments with Becky before I moved, and she was always incredibly kind, thorough, and effective. For me personally, acupuncture helped improve my mood and mental health greatly.

I highly recommend Five Elephants. Becky is amazing. I was a skeptic when I first went to see her a year ago with sciatica pain. I had suffered for months and nothing helped. After 3 visits my pain was gone and never came back. Recently, I started having problems with joint stiffness.

I have been going to Becky off and on for years. The level of knowledge and service she gives is above and beyond. I always leave with a sense of ease and comfort and confidence that she genuinely cares about my well-being ☀️

I wish I would have heard about this years ago! Becky is awesome and we laughed about me referring to the alternative medicine as “Voodoo stuff”. I felt great after the 1st session. Can’t wait to go back!!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
