From the reviews
I’m a 65-year-old male whose been receiving Acupuncture treatments from Debbie, the owner of Fit for Life Acupuncture. When I first started treatments, I had serious back pain. Not sure if it was a herniated disk or something else causing the situation but it went from bad to worse.
Dr. Debbie Wilcox D’Addeo with her magic needles is AMAZING. She inserts the needles with exacting precision. The needles do the work as you lay blissfully relaxed. Post-treatment I feel wonderful. Is it because my body is in balance? Inflammation is reduced?
Debbie is the absolute greatest. I have been seeing her for years and she is always able to address the problem I’m having. I started out going to her for plantar fasciitis and she fixed that. Then I had a pinched ulner nerve in my right arm and was scheduled for surgery.
Debbie is fantastic -- I started going in for acupuncture about a month ago. She is a great listener and very kind and friendly. I had only done acupuncture one other time with someone else, and actually didn't like it very much, but Debbie worked with me to make me comfortable, and now I find it very relaxing!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
