I’ve been working with Dr. Garcia and the team at 1st State Health and Wellness for almost two years now. I have never had experience with chiropractic care prior to working with Dr. Garcia, and I feel so fortunate to have nothing but great things to say about my overall experience.
I became a patient of Dr. Tiffany Garcia at First State Health & Wellness on July 25, 2024 as I was rear ended in an auto accident in early July and was experiencing pain in the head, neck, and left shoulder area and needed professional help. Dr.
I had never been to a Chiropractor before and, to be honest, I had my doubts. But when I hurt my lower back, my wife encouraged me to see Dr. Garcia, whom she had been seeing for a while... so I decided to give it a try.
Emergency visit for someone in my care, they got us in immediately with no issues. Can not believe how much this office cared and how efficient, thank you so much for seeing us. What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
