From the reviews
Dr. Jared is without question, the absolute best there is. After I injured my knee skiing earlier this winter, Jared was my first call. Because of my career- I did not have the time to be down and out with an injury and I knew he would get my up and running again quickly and effectively.
I have seen chiropractors, osteopaths and physical therapists off and on for the last 30 years. The biggest difference between all of them and Doc Jared is that Jared has the skill and knowledge to bring in a variety of modalities for treatment that the others don’t.
I started seeing Jared to address a chronic issue I had neglected, one that was affecting both my gym sessions and my ability to get through the workday. Over the course of our initial 12 week program, we not only resolved that issue but also addressed additional injuries, sore muscles, and mobility limitations… far…
I recently met Jared the owner of First In Osteopractic Wellness at our local gym. He was able to get me in for an evaluation right away which was one of the most thorough evaluations I have had by any primary care physician or specialist.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
