From the reviews
Feel the Knead is a hidden gem in Bloomington/Normal. Corey combines his passion of the human skeleton, fitness and health into every massage. His mastery of the body comes through in every session - from athletes looking to heal and stay healthy … to someone looking for a hour to relax and unwind.
Corey is a true professional, he’s knowledgeable and is exceptional at his skill. My neck and lower back hurts so bad I could barely stand it, after Corey worked on me I walked out of his office and I haven’t felt that good in years. He set me up for a win at my triathlon, thank you Corey!
Corey works magic! Keeps my body healthy to keep doing the things I want to do in life!
Literally the best massages I’ve ever had. Corey takes time to understand why you’re there and really customize what massage would be the best for your body at that time. I’ve done a somatic massage and a deep tissue and both were exceptional and just what I needed.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
