From the reviews
Dr. Laura Bergmann (PhD, ABD) is one of the most amazing practitioners of Fascia focused hands on tissue realignment and pain relief anywhere. She gets to know her patients and focuses on their needs and the result is always pain relief and better body alignment.
Laura's reputation preceded her, with glowing recommendations from others. As I arrived, she observed my every move, attentively listening and silently assessing my condition. Her expertise and experience were evident, and she proved to be truly amazing.
I had a relaxation massage with Amy Keyser yesterday and it was amazing! I felt like I was walking without pain afterward! Amy was very attentive to my specific muscular needs, even pointing out areas where she could feel tightness and giving me advice on how to counter-stretch those areas.
I have been lucky to see Laura- the past year and more, and always look forward to our session. I always leave feeling amazing but also knowing what I need to work on, to help strengthen my body. Her myocfascial release/techniques has helped keep me going throughout my running and fitness journey.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
