From the reviews

I was both excited and a bit apprehensive about trying cupping, as I’ve been dealing with persistent tension in my shoulder. To my delight, the session provided almost instant relief—something that regular massages hadn’t been able to achieve. Even days later, I’m still amazed at how much better I feel.

Very wonderful practice and doctor! I was having a lot of tension, stiffness, and pain in my upper back and neck, so I booked a session not really knowing what to expect. However, Dr.

So impressive the way my pain has gone away. I had whiplash and PT was not helping me to gain strength in my mobility from my neck, shoulders and upper back. I’m so thankful to have come visit Dr. Lui Lac. I definitely recommend you to come here first before going to have any procedure or surgery done for pain.

★★★★★ — Norma, Oct 2025

I came in after feeling excruciating pain in my feet and lower back. After assessing and examining, Dr. Liu was able to alleviate the pain and I left feeling nearly recovered. I am feeling better than I have felt in a long time.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
