TLDR: **THE BEST PHYSICAL THERAPIST HANDS DOWN** After dealing with chronic back issues for far too long I decided to try Empowered PT to get my life back. A full assessment of my mobility was done and Dr. Youssef felt confident in his ability to help me solve my issues.
I went in with tremendous lower back pain that I never experienced before and I was unable to walk comfortably. I had a hard time sitting down and standing up. I was very anxious and scared. I left Empowered PT with a sense of relief, a plan to do simple exercises at home and to try to keep moving slowly.
Bishoy is great in all regards. I have recommended him to everyone I know who is in need of therapy and would, without reservation, recommend him to you as well.

What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
