What clients say about the cupping here
“One of the more professional massage therapists I've encountered in my many years of getting massages.”
“This was my very first massage and Lori was so wonderful to explain how the process works.”
“Her intuitive touch was gentle yet deeply effective, and I left feeling lighter, clearer, and more at ease in my body.”
From the reviews
I went to see Lori for a lymph drainage treatment to help my Immune system recover after Covid. Little did I know I’d walk out of there with my knees and quads, feeling less sore from my ski day. It was so beneficial I went in for another treatment a week later, and had the same results.
I have seen Lori for years. She has gone from normal deep tissue to lymphatic massage. I am always impressed with the environment of the massage, and the quality. The lymphatic massage felt different and very refreshing after 24 hours. It did feel like a rejuvenating and cleansing.
I saw Lori for a lymphatic massage because I've lately been retaining a lot of water and feeling puffy and bloated. The massage was incredibly relaxing and felt really good in my body.
She does not deserve a five star rating. More like a 10! But that’s the most it would let me leave as a review. Great experience. First timer so I had a ton of questions and Lori fielded all of them like a pro. Felt so relaxed and at ease with the process. Will most definitely be back and recommend to friends. Thanks!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
