From the reviews

I came to Elizabeth complaining about neck pain. We discussed my issues and agreed to treatments that involved cupping and trigger point therapy twice a month. The relief was almost immediate, but would slowly come back between sessions.

★★★★★ — Seth, Feb 2024

I had never tried acupuncture before my appointment with Elizabeth today, but it was amazing! I felt so relaxed, like I had just spent a full day at the spa—but my session was only 40 minutes! Elizabeth explained everything super well and took the time to understand why I was coming in.

★★★★★ — Lily, Mar 2023

Elizabeth is wonderful! She listened intently, asked questions, explained the treatment and gave me an opportunity to inquire about her process. If you are searching for a gifted, compassionate practitioner, look no further! I will return to her and certainly refer friends and family. Thank you, Elizabeth!

Elizabeth is simply amazing! The experience is wonderful; she has a cute, cozy office that you can tell she put a lot of love into. I love the treatment itself - to be honest, I’m hooked. It’s incredibly relaxing and my body feels so much better afterward.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
