omg😭! i got a gift card for a couples massage for me and my bf for valentine’s day, and we went yesterday and wow it was amazing to say the least! i think they messed up though because it was supposed to be a couples massage but we went separately.
The lady (I didn't get her name) was so sweet when checking me in. The place was warm, clean, and welcoming. I received a massage from Cody and it was literally the best massage of my life! He targeted the areas that were causing me a lot of pain and the pressure was perfect.
It has been at least 4-5 years since I have received a massage. I was gifted 90 minute massage for mother's day, and made my appointment. I had been having what felt like cronic tightness in my neck, shoulders and lower traps.
I was looking for a new massage therapist and was in significant pain so I took a chance and called Elements in Westminster and was lucky enough to get a same day appointment with Rachel. Wow, was I lucky! Rachel was so kind , gentle, and skilled that I was extremely happy.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
