What clients say about the cupping here
“I can tell she's an experienced therapist, since she releases muscle tension every time I come and gives suggestions on how to ease tension at home.”
“He took the time to understand my needs, explained the process, and customized the session accordingly.”
“She was understanding, respectful, and very cautious to only do what I was comfortable with.”
“It was my first time ever going to Elements Massage and she asked what my goal was with the massage and I said simply to relax and de-stress….”
From the reviews
This is my second time going to Elements Massage. I had Cat the 1st. She was cool, just didn’t get my points. Then Steven, really deep massage, but ended up with bruises the massage was so deep. Felt good at the time though.
Had an excellent 2 hour massage with Heather today. I am a one hour wellness member and had an extra massage to use from a month I could not get in. I was not sure if increasing to 2 hours would make a difference, but I feel like the extra time allowed my whole body to relax and I think going to Heather was just what…
I've been getting massages here for about 2-3 years now. I travel quite a bit so my credits stack up (I have a membership with them). The front desk people are super polite and they do a really good job of reminding you of your appointments.
I've been getting massages for over 20 years. I had the best one with Nathan. He is very talented. He reduced my severe sciatica pain by 80 percent. Thank you Nathan! See you again soon.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
