This was my first visit here and I had Mark for a deep tissue massage. The massage itself was great! The heated table was nice, and the room was clean. I also liked that I wasn’t pressured to buy a membership or products to take home like I have been at other places.
I enjoyed the atmosphere and privacy. The prices are decent and the massage, Mark was my therapist, really helped me decompress and relax. I required and deep and firm massage and he did exactly that. I loved my massage. The staff were friendly and helpful with questions and paper work.
The staff takes the time to listen to find your problem areas. Then they proceed to use specialized massage techniques that help relieve pain. After being in a car wreck, they have relieved so much stress for me & even gave tips on how to help speed up my recovery.
This place and staff were phenomenal! Me and my daughter went for Mother's Day, and got the 1 hour session and truly enjoyed it. The staff was very professional, and made us feel very comfortable.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
