Haven’t had many massages, but enjoyed this place very much. Front desk was really friendly and professional. My masseuse Courtney is awesome. And after leaving I felt brand new! She found trouble spots and worked them out... even gave advice on stretches. Will continue business here!
I’ve had massage therapists at different Elements locations, but Igor is my new favorite! He is very thorough and checks in regularly on pressure and temperature. I requested level 2 pressure and he was consistent throughout my 90 minute session.
From the moment I enter Aurora at Tower & Hampden, I greeted by Craig who is always pleasant and helpful. The various masseuses that I've been to have all be very skilled and kind, and the facility is always clean. I don't think I've ever seen a speck of anything on furniture or the carpet!
Both the massages I've had where awesome! Two different therapists, both were exceptional. I'm not going to name them because I don't want the competition for appointments. 😊 Front desk personnel are friendly and efficient. Place is very clean with great atmosphere. Highly recommend!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
