…She did a round of acupuncture and cupping and I wasn’t sure what to expect when I came off the table. I definitely wasn’t expecting to see and feel such a noticeable difference. I wasn’t cured in one visit, but to see results so quickly was really amazing.
This review is long overdue! I have been seeing Erin since March to help with amenorrhea and TTC. She is AMAZING! She actually was the one who helped uncover my PCOS and has been instrumental in my treatment both physical and mental.
I recommend Erin and her team without reservation - they are kind, caring and accommodating. I saw Erin during fertility treatments - she is incredibly knowledgable and I always left sessions with her feeling better than I did prior to walking through the door.
While it's taken me a while to actually write this review, Erin gets 5 stars from day 1! I started seeing Erin over a year ago to regulate my hormones and begin what turned out to be a longer than expected fertility journey. Erin is an extremely knowledgeable practitioner and very kind and caring.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
