I’ve gone to Mayumi for over 7 years and drive 35 miles to do so. Attention to where I need focus is key for me due to a previous car accident. Hot stones, cupping, rollers and aromatherapy as well are a bonus!
Eden Massage is THE best place I have been to so far! The studio is beautiful, clean and welcoming. Very professional and courteous staff ready for you the entrance. The massage table is very clean, professionally made and has a candle and fresh flowers placed on it prior to your session.
This is a very professional massage studio, it is located inside of a office building on the first floor. This was a good massage for the effects verse the time requested and I feel less sore after the treatment.
Hands down the best deep tissue massage I’ve gotten. Mayumi knew exactly where I was sore and how to loosen it up. Throughout the entire massage there wasn’t a time where she wasn’t hitting the exact spot she needed to be. The room was very clean and had calming music playing in the background.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
