From the reviews

I have had massage and energy work done by Marie of Echo Fusion Healing Arts which was really wonderful! She incorporates many different healing tools/modalities (such as aromatherapy, music therapy and cupping) and she is so knowledgeable.

I recently traveled to Michigan for vacation. I was looking for a good massage to book and researched Marie's "soul massage" and let me tell you how amazing of an experience it turned out to be. If I could give her 10 stars, I would. She pays full attention to detail and her clients needs.

★★★★★ — Megan, Nov 2017

I highly recommend Echo Fusion for a wonderful massage. A massage always feels good, but what makes Marie outstanding is that she had mastered much more than the basics taught in massage school.

★★★★★ — Linda, Feb 2018

Marie is a treasure. We found her several years ago while on vacation in Grand Haven, looking to add some extra relaxation to our trip. We got so much more - Marie is a knowledgeable practitioner, but also a kind and compassionate healer and now a friend.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
