From the reviews

Dr. Gong really cares about her patients. I came to her for fertility issues. We had several miscarriages with no successful pregnancies. I am now 20 weeks pregnant due to her care and treatment. I became pregnant right at the beginning of COVID and Dr.

★★★★★ — Linsi, Jul 2020

I feel truly fortunate to have found Dr Ellen Gong. Before seeing her, I did a bunch of lab tests and none of my Western doctors could tell me what happened to my joints and overall health. But Dr Gong was able to heal me.

★★★★★ — Phi, Sep 2023

I have known Dr. Gong for a while and I can’t say enough good things about the way she handles every visit. The last one impressed me the most as I felt her healing energy going through my entire body. It was a unique moment.

★★★★★ — Blue, Sep 2023

I am able to relax and recover during my treatments here. I have been to Dr Gong for years. Lawrence is a Tui-Na master. Everyone here listens and tries to help.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
