Honestly, I've been getting massage for 16 years now, and most of the time when you randomly see someone new it is below expectations. Kaeleen effort and techniques were stellar.
I started coming to Earthbody Healing Arts after a severe vertigo attack that sent me to the ER in October. I was medically advised to do physical therapy and massage because the main cause of my vertigo is related to my neck.
I was looking for a massage therapist after some bad experiences in the past, so I decided to give Rebekkah a try — and I’m so glad I did! From my very first visit, it was amazing. Her hands are truly magical, and she knows exactly how to relieve tension, helping you feel relaxed and renewed.
My arm and shoulder have been in pain for years from an old injury . After the message treatments my pain is gone. I didn’t ever think I would be able to use it again, like I used it before the injury. Bekka is super friendly and professional. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Healing and good energy!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
