From the reviews
All of my experiences at Dynamic have been top notch. All of the therapists are very knowledgeable. They listen, assess, provide treatment and exercises. When I have gone to other PTs in the area, they do not offer treatment like dynamic does. Yesterday, Matt did cupping.
I have torn meniscus in my knee and have been active on it, but it was just limiting me. Jake came recommended from ladies I workout with and they couldn't have been more right! After the first visit with Jake I was feeling better.
Shortly after registering for a marathon I was very excited for, I began having knee pain that kept me from running more than 10 minutes. After realizing the pain was not going to go away on its own and the marathon coming up quick, I sought out Jake Hegge, PT.
Jake Hegge has helped me work through and continue to resolve and heal through a couple knee injuries and a recent calf injury. Each time I am seen for a new concern he takes the time and care to understand the injury and determines the root to the injury.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
