From the reviews
I was having long term issues with my back and shoulder and Dr. Megan recommended dry needling in addition to cupping. I was skeptical at first, but my issues are now gone. Megan is friendly knowledgeable and kind. I would recommend Dr. Megan for all of your Physical Therapy needs.
Megan is absolutely wonderful. I had been searching for a practitioner who could assess my daughter and provide recommendations for her athletic yet unique anatomy. Before Megan, we’d been to 1 orthopod, and 2 podiatrists and I was feeling incredibly frustrated at the tunnel vision these folks seemed to have.
Megan was amazing to work with and I highly recommend her services. She was thorough and listened closely to what I had to say. I was dealing with plantar fasciitis (after having a knee replacement) and she provided me exercises and a recommendation to change my shoes.
Was excited to find Dr. Drewes in Ohio! She was very knowledgeable and did a great job evaluating my issue. Dr. Drewes also provided a very detailed and thorough remediation plan which was easy to implement and follow. Highly recommend seeing her if you are experiencing any foot problems.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
