From the reviews
Wow. I just had the great experience I never new existed before. This Brother helped me with Hijama and its a brilliant treatment. Making me feel like a different person already. Giving me a fresh energy. Looking forward to the days ahead. Already started recommending him to others.
First time ever getting my cupping done was a little nervous but Sohrab explained everything in detail before anything. Very professional and I highly recommend everyone to try it. You will definitely feel a big difference!
Always had the intention of doing Hijama as per the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet (SAW), but also wanted to do it from a certified practitioner and by the will of Allah came across Brother Hussain who was doing a remarkable work in the local area, booked him for a home visit and what can i say the brother had…
Had a great experience, sohrab is very professional. He treated my injury well, I had a sore thigh due to training and at a time when physio wasn't available I asked sohrab of he could do anything for my thigh, and dry cupping worked wonders for me, I went back again a few weeks later to see if he could do anything…
Booking hijama (wet cupping) at Detox with Cupping, Hijama Therapy
Detox with Cupping, Hijama Therapy comes up as a provider that offers hijama — wet cupping, where the skin is lightly punctured after suction so a small amount of blood is drawn. If you're booking hijama specifically, a few things are worth asking before you go. First, sterility is everything — a reputable practitioner uses a fresh, single-use kit (new blades and cups) for every client and follows clean, gloved technique. It's completely fair to ask how they handle this. Second, many people booking hijama want a same-gender practitioner — ask whether that can be arranged. Third, ask about aftercare and whether they observe particular days if that matters to you.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
