I've been to many massage places but Destress Express tops them all. As soon as you walk in, you are met with a well-appointed and comfortable waiting area and someone at the front desk greets you pleasantly. Jedi is amazing. I was referred by a friend who works in the hospital with me because I was telling her about some consistent back pain. I think she skipped the part about him beating you up 🤔😂. Nevertheless, he was very attentive to my body movements, muscle alignment, and prior stressors.
This was my first time and recommended by my cousin who enjoyed it so I had to try it. I loved the atmosphere and it smelled really good in there which set the vibe. The front desk had great customer service and was extremely nice. I did a 90 minute reflexology massage with Chadwick and he did not disappoint.
My husband and I had a much needed couples massage Friday and not were our ladies wonderful. Quala and Brittany were professional and attentive to our special requests!! We'll definitely be booking with them again very soon!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
