I first started going to Dawn in 2018 and continued for 2 years up until the pandemic started. I did not have a need to return again up until a few months ago to help get some relief from pain that started after an injury. I quickly remembered why I absolutely loved going to her.
I am a 74 year-old female and have suffered from lower back pain for years and recently hip pain. I’ve tried many different modalities including other acupuncturists and nothing helped until I was treated by Dawn. The pain started to subdue after one session and I am miraculously pain-free after three sessions.

I have been treating with Dawn for several years. The treatment is beyond my expectations. I moved over an hour away but the commute is well worth it. Sometimes I have to remind myself that I'm not her only patients and someone else maybe waiting.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
