From the reviews

…The first session was great, 30 minutes to discuss my history and what my main concerns are, what I'd like to work on, and what I'd like to accomplish during our sessions, and then 60 minutes of Acupuncture, Cupping, & Gua sha. I was feeling much more relaxed and hopeful after our initial session.

The environment is so welcoming and comfortable. Caitlynn is super knowledgeable and explains every step she’s taking. I’ve noticed improvements in my concerns since starting treatment with her. I’d highly recommend Dancing Aspen to all my friends and family.

I was referred here from my doctor. Once I started receiving treatments, I have kept coming back. I really like Dancing Aspen and the care I get. This really helps for my back and neck pain. I had a hard time with going to a chiropractor, and it really hurt.

★★★★★ — Peter, Apr 2026

Caithlynn was very professional. She asks lot of questions to make sure she picks the right treatment. I don't like needles by nature, but when Caithlynn inserted them, I barely felt anything. I still prefer not to see it though. ;-) I'm a fan of eastern medicine so I highly recommend this accupuncture treatment.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
