From the reviews

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Chad for almost 15 years. Years ago, his adjustments helped my daughter avoid surgery for digestive issues. And he has helped to slow the progression of spine and shoulder issues for me.

I broke my back in three places in 2017. I have tried literally everything for the pain. I was too scared to go to a chiropractor but I finally caved after years and went to Fixx. Even though I was timid and scared to get adjusted the staff was incredibly patient and kind to me.

If you need a Chiropractor in Dickson, GO HERE! It’s hard to choose between chiropractors when they all have similar qualifications, but it’s the staff and the atmosphere that make a difference. At Fixx, both Dr. Jonathan and Dr. Chad genuinely care about you and are here for you.

★★★★★ — Rebekah, Jan 2023

Fantastic place. Very thorough new patient exam, with a full follow-up appointment where Dr. Upchurch goes through your x-rays and other test results. Structured schedule to get you back to feeling 100%. I have had a bad hip pain since I was a teenager, and I don't have the same pain anymore- feels weird to not hurt!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
