From the reviews

I am SO GRATEFUL that I found Created For Motion!!! Dr. Michelle has made my life pain free! I was suffering from neck/shoulder pain and thought I would always just have to deal with it.

I started seeing Dr. Tyler in February 2016 after 4 years of epidural injections and endless doctor and other chiropractor appointments. I have 2 bulged disks in my lower back and have lived with shooting pain for years. I have been told for years that my back is in bad shape but not bad enough for surgery.

★★★★★ — Michelle, Jun 2016

The VA recommended Created For Motion for me, since I have had a lot of pain in my right hip from a near fatal car accident 23 years ago. Physical therapy and medications helped some, but over time, the pain got worse. I was advised to give acupuncture a try, so the VA scheduled me to see Dr. Tyler.

I was having back & hip problems. Had tried different treatment plans & nothing seemed to take care of the issues I was having. Went to Dr Michelle & she did a head to toe assessment. She found the problem areas, did the adjustments & explained exercises to do at home to help strengthen the muscles. She is awesome!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
