What clients say about the cupping here
“I’ve had great massages before, but Terri was the best, most knowledgeable MT and took the time to discuss every one of my aches and pains and very much opened my eyes to what could be causing them.”
“Whether you go to resolve a problem or just to be relaxed, this is the place to be!”
From the reviews
I have had both detox and massage sessions at Covellite and loved them both. I have to admit that some of my massage appointments have been at the last minute and Terri has always done her best to get me in the day I call. My husband and I have also had several couples massages.
My husband gave me a gift certificate for Mother’s Day, and I just got my massage today. I’ve had great massages before, but Terri was the best, most knowledgeable MT and took the time to discuss every one of my aches and pains and very much opened my eyes to what could be causing them.
I've been in for a couple of 2 hour deep tissue massages with Terri and they were fantastic, great experience all around.
Great massage therapy but a little bit pricey. Staff accommodate in meeting your needs and are very friendly :-)
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
