“Similarly, from a techniques point of view she is equally capable of doing targeted acupoint work with glass fire cupping as she is using flowing Swedish strokes to relax the tissue.”

From the reviews
As a life-long athlete, I've used deep tissue therapeutic massage to recover from sports injuries and stress-related tension for decades. I gave Courtney a try out of curiosity, as I have heard of TCM but never tried it.
I am a bodywork therapist based in Madison, WI and I try to get bodywork from Courtney every chance I can get. I have worked with many bodyworkers through the years and while I tend to enjoy any well-intentioned work, I have a particular affinity for work that is focused, deep, and penetrating.
Courtney is great! Very knowledgeable, personable, and therapeutic. Great price as well! I’ve been to her several times (for cupping) and will continue to do so. She’s fantastic! Highly recommended!
Being a professional licensed massage therapist myself & busy mommy of 3 wonderful children, I am always seeking great bodywork to help me feel my best. Courtney is a gem! She is so passionate about what she does, and has a gift for this profession.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
