From the reviews
Dr Peggy and Dr Olivia (acupuncture and cupping) and Dr Mike (chiropractor) are all amazing and have helped me so much in navigating the aches, pains and stresses of modern mid-life. Not only do I have decreased pain and tension in my back, shoulders and neck but I also feel so much more grounded on a day to day basis.
I can’t recommend Cornerstone Healing enough. I’ve been a patient for about four years, seeing Dr. Mike for chiropractic care and Dr. Anne and Dr. Olivia for acupuncture and cupping, and the level of care is consistently exceptional.
There, Mike is the only chiropractor I let touch my back. He is professional, and exactly knows how to work on your back. And soon I discovered the massage therapist and acupuncture too. Good combination for my back and my well being. Just want to say thank you.
Dr Peggy and everyone who works here are so lovely. The rooms are very clean and have beautiful soft lighting and smell nice too. There are heated beds & heat lamps available and calm, soft music. Dr Peggy has helped me in so many ways using acupuncture and has an amazing bedside manner. Totally recommend 100%.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
