From the reviews

Literally a 10/10 experience every time I go. Ty is very professional and pays attention to even the little details. He can pin point where sensitive areas are as he is assessing my spine. I have noticeable results both in my pain level and mobility at the end of each visit. Best chiropractor I have ever seen!

I started care with Dr. Hicks after I had my first baby. I was having back and neck pain related to my posture after being pregnant and breastfeeding. He took the time to really understand what was causing my pain and developed a treatment plan that was tailored to my needs. Would highly recommend!

I’ve been seeing Ty for lower back pain for about a year now. He’s a great chiropractor. He’s thorough and listens and tries really hard to help manage your pain! He is the first chiropractor I’ve seen that has provided me relief from my back pain. I highly recommend him!

I would highly recommend Dr. Ty Hicks. He takes his time to really figure out what issues you have going on before coming up with a quality treatment plan. I have had some neck and low back pain and I leave Dr. Hicks’ office feeling relieved everytime.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
