From the reviews

I was very nervous about physical therapy due to my injury. My therapist, Aaron, is absolutely amazing. He truly pays attention to how I'm feeling but, he will push me when I need it. He truly makes the atmosphere less stressful.

Hunter is excellent at what he does. He is very patient, professional, and keeps things relative. I would highly recommend him as a therapist!

★★★★★ — Richie, Dec 2025

I took my PT at CORA and feel like I was at the best place for my recovery from a total knee replacement. Aaron was great...he pushed me to do a little more each time. I know he knew what he was doing. I wanted to achieve my goal and feel that I did with his help.

★★★★★ — Bonnie, Jan 2024

Cora Physical Therapy in Martinsville has been wonderful. Hunter has been incredible with my husband. He is calm, patient, and very knowledgeable. He has helped my husband feel safe and supported throughout his healing journey after the accident.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
