“From the moment I walked in, the entire team made me feel welcomed and supported — and the results have been amazing.”
From the reviews
I had a great experience and a great improvement in the strength and mobility of my left knee. The CORA PT Haley Bearden was awesome. She made sure that she understood the nature of my injury and worked with me step by step in achieving the goals that I wanted to achieve out of the PT.
This is an excellent physical therapy facility. My therapist was John McConville, PT, DPT, CSCS. He provided expert care and direction for improving my neck and shoulder issues. I'm doing much better. I highly recommend CORA PT.
My experience at Cora was singular, incredible, and overall—just really great! I was referred to Cora (Dr. Taylor in particular) after describing some pelvic issues to my doctor. She RAVED about Taylor, and was confident that she would be able to help me with my problem.
I’ve had an outstanding experience at CORA Physical Therapy in Harrisburg! From the moment I walked in, the entire team made me feel welcomed and supported — and the results have been amazing.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
